"Old man? Your grandfather, I suppose."
"Neah...mister oh-so-feared Lee." The General chuckled
"The Fire Lord?! And you dare insulting him in full day?"
"Well, he is old. But I didn't know that you were so fond of him; most people in this district don't like him."
"Most people hate him." Shin corrected in a whisper. "Wait, why did you buy the apples? Isn't it a regular servant's job?"
"Slacking off from work. I would rather walk the whole city - which I mostly did - than reading some bullshit reports about the last expedition."
The boy looked at him unimpressed and asked doubtful. "Are you sure you're a general?"
Mean! The man frowned
The man raised his hand again, but someone grabbed it in mid air before he could use it. The attacker turned to see who dared to get involved.
"What do you think you're-" he stopped mid-sentence, shock pasted on his face and guts gone. "G-General...?"
"Hello!" The General greeted with joy as if nothing happened. "What's going on here?" He faked the confusion.
"Nothing." One of the attackers whispered after they changed glaces. Although the high ranked officer played fool, they both got the unspoken warning. "With your permission..."
The General nodded and tracked sideways as the two disappeared from sight, then turned his eyes to the boy.

The thief ran as fast as he could, turned to right, then to left and finally jumped over an old wall (or what was left of it). He looked back, making sure that "the old man", as he named the victim, wasn't following him. The boy smirked and slowly spun the stolen thing in his palm, carefully analyzing th

Warning Shots [APH Prussia Germany]
The room was deliberately silent, the intense kind of silence that could only be described as oppressive. Prussia was keenly aware of it, but it was difficult to find the words to break it. His brother was sitting by the dying fire, his demeanor deflated. His blonde hair was unkempt and his arm was still bound beneath his coat, the damage from the mortar not healing as quickly as it should. His eyes were glazed over as he contemplated the patch of the rug in front of him.
The sight of the young man so broken rendered Prussia speechless. He had not intended any of this and there was no way for him to remedy it. The feeling of impotence and th
